NZ ref on EPL duty
New Zealand referee Peter O'Leary got more than he bargained for when officiated the second half of an English Premier League match.
He attended the match between Aston Villa and Sunderland in Birmingham as a guest of top English referee Steve Bennett.

AFC hails retiring Shield
Leading AFC officials have expressed sadness at Asian Referee of the Year Australian Mark Shield’s decision to hang up his whistle. Shield, who scooped the AFC Referee of the Year award last year, is recognised as one of the best referees in the world. However, in a letter to FIFA earlier this month, he said he plans to retire from international duties at the end of this year.
